 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub of the American is an actor as well as a comedian and activist. She was born in Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and started her career shortly after emigrating from Israel to the United States as a child actor. Her most well-known work is her appearances in AT&T television commercials. In these commercials, Lily Adams (2013 to 2016) and in 2020 (since 2020). Apart from her commercial appearances, she was a regular on the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also had an ongoing role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl on Marvel Rising since 2018, following her appearance in the TV pilot that was never aired New Warriors. Vayntrub is an Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic (USSR) native, and also an American Jew. Her parents and her left antisemitism at two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. At the age of five she began to appear in Mattel Barbie commercials. This was in part due to the difficulties in the family's finances. Vayntrub briefly studied at Beverly Hills High School. After her sophomore year, she quit and obtained an GED. She went on, however, to obtain a Bachelor of Arts Communication from University of California San Diego. Vayntrub was a student of improv comedy in the Upright Citizens Brigade.
