  Jacques Bermon Webster II (born April 30 1991) more popularly known as his stage name Travis Scott (formerly stylized as Travi$ Scott), is a popular American artist, rapper and songwriter. He is also a record producer. His stage name is that of a beloved uncle, and also the initial name of Kid Cudi, his inspiration (whose real name was Scott Mescudi). In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records. He also signed a publishing contract with GOOD Music with Kanye West. In April 2013, he signed a joint-recording contract with Epic and T.I. Then, he launched his Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's debut album Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. The project was followed by another mixtape, Days Before Rodeo, in 2014. Rodeo (2015) was the first studio album by the artist. The smash single "Antidote" was the album's lead track. The second album called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first top-ranked album on the Billboard 200. Scott's sophomore album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), was an album that was a collaboration with Quavo. The album was called Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode", featuring Drake. Scott's Cactus Jack Records album JackBoys debut on the Billboard 200 in late 2019. Scott's single "Franchise" which featured Young Thug, M.I.A. and other artists, was released. Scott became the first artist in the Hot 100 to release three singles at number 1 in less that an entire year, in the year 2020.
