Alexandra Raisman
Aly Raisman, an American gymnast is a former member of both the Fierce 5 2012 and Final Five 2016 US Women's Olympic gymnastics teams. In the 2012 Olympics she won gold in both floor for the team and in individual competitions. The bronze medal was awarded through her balance bar. It made her the Olympic gymnast with the highest number of medals. At the 2016, Olympics she took home a gold medal in the team event that gave her as well as her teammate Gabby Douglas the distinction of having been one of the very first Americans to earn back-to-back gold medals for the team. Also, silver medals were awarded for the all-around competition and floor exercises. Three years have passed since she last competed in competition gymnastics. The gold medal she won for the American team also won two World Championships. The gymnastics lessons she began when she was two and her favorite event is floor exercises. Aly is a member of the Uniting Against Lung Cancer organization to honor her mother who died due to cancer. She is planning to pursue the field of fashion, and is looking to increase her line of signature leotards as well as socks in the future. Fierce will be out in the summer of this year.
